Steven B. Wagner

Practice Areas:  Tax planning and consultation in business taxation, individual income taxation, and trust and estate taxation.

Biographical Notes:  Mr. Wagner is partner in charge of the tax practice at Baune Dosen & Co LLP, where he has practiced in the area of taxation since 1988. He brings extensive accounting and business experience to the servicing of companies both large and small, as well as individuals.

His core focus areas include emerging growth businesses, financial institutions, professional service organizations, retail, manufacturing, and real-estate development and investment.

Mr. Wagner has extensive experience in representing taxpayers before various taxing authorities, both at the local and national level. He has served as an expert witness in taxation during litigation proceedings.

Mr. Wagner graduated in 1988 from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an Accounting emphasis.

He has instructed numerous courses in the area of taxation, including courses for the Minnesota Institute of Legal Education, The Minnesota Tax Institute, Seminar Professionals, Inc., Minnesota Bankers Association (MBA), Construction Management Association, and Association of General Contractors.

Mr. Wagner was named a Super CPA by Minnesota Law & Politics and Twin Cities Business Monthly. He is a past Chair of the Twin West Ambassador Committee and is an active member of the Minneapolis CPA Tax Roundtable.

He is a member of the Minnesota State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
